Elvia m. Lopez
Elvia is a co-founder of Litteral LLP. As an advisor and litigator, she draws on generations of women who would not take no for an answer. In that vein, she does not shy away from tough cases.
Elvia focuses her practice on the fundamentals. Her approach is shaped by time spent with exceptional jurists and mediators. She clerked for the Honorable Daniel E. Winfree of the Alaska Supreme Court and the Honorable Haywood S. Gilliam, Jr. of the Northern District of California.
Elvia understands that what happens outside a courtroom can be just as important as what happens inside. She brings to the table years of experience collaborating with workers, activists, and corporate executives in a number of countries, spanning from Chile to South Africa.
Elvia earned her law degree from Berkeley Law. Among her achievements, she received a full-tuition merit scholarship, the Berkeley Law Certificate of Specialization in International Law, the Cruz Reynoso Fellowship, and multiple awards for her writing. She graduated with academic distinction from LSE and summa cum laude from UCLA.
